Baseball Recap: Monroeville Takes a Loss

Margaretta hit Monroeville with a six-run seventh inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 10-0 to the Polar Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Polar Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Monroeville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colt Clark, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Monroeville's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Margaretta, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-17 record this season.
