Softball Recap: Albuquerque Academy Comes Up Short

Albuquerque Academy fell victim to Piedra Vista and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 17-0 to the Panthers. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Albuquerque Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Piedra Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Albuquerque Academy will square off against Grants at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piedra Vista, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Piedra Vista Panthers take on Bloomfield Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. They are facing Bloomfield at the right time seeing as Bloomfield is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
