Football Game Preview: Kailua Surfriders vs. Waipahu Marauders + Official Tickets

For the second straight game, Kailua will face off against Waipahu. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 1:00 p.m. on November 1. Kailua's defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so Waipahu's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Kailua is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Hawaii's top teams: Waipahu, who was ranked 11th at the time (Kailua was ranked eighth). The Surfriders came out on top against the Marauders by a score of 22-15 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Surfriders, who have now won five games in a row.

Waipahu's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Kailua, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
