Baseball Recap: Williams Field Triumphs

Williams Field won the last time they faced Higley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Black Hawks came out on top against the Knights by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Black Hawks.

Sterling Williams tossed a big game, striking out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, Williams Field saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Stephens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That's the most hits Stephens has posted since back in February.

Williams Field's record is now 17-9. As for Higley, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Williams Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Higley, they will head out to face off against Mountain View at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
