Basketball Recap: Dinwiddie Takes a Loss

Dinwiddie played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Hanover Hawks, falling 64-27. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost nine in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Dinwiddie lost, don't look at Carolina Berry. Despite the final result, she posted eight points.

Dinwiddie's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Hanover, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Dinwiddie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-58 win against Atlee on the 24th. As for Hanover, they will face off against Dinwiddie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Dinwiddie likes a good challenge.
