Baseball Recap: Norco Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Norco entered their tilt with Roosevelt on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 4-1. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Landon Hovermale spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

At the plate, Dylan Seward was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted over his last 11 games. Ryan Farias was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Norco's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
