Carroll hadn't done well against Ballard recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Carroll Tigers had just enough and edged the Ballard Bombers out 34-32. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Carroll's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Ballard, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Carroll will host North Polk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Polk will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Carroll surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ballard, they will venture away from home to take on Winterset at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
