Recap: Sterling Jets vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles

After a string of three wins, the Sterling Jets's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Johnson-Brock on the road and fell 65-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sterling has scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Johnson-Brock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklyn Behrends, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Behrends hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Ottemann, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

Sterling now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Johnson-Brock, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Sterling will be playing at home against the Falcons on Tuesday. Freeman's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so the Jets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Johnson-Brock, they will take on the Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Diller-Odell is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
