Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Columbus Catholic Dons. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Dons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-7.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Columbus Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-11 record this season.

Greenwood has already played their next matchup (against Gilman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Columbus Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Spencer on the 2nd.
