Basketball Game Preview: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Mancos Bluejays + How To Watch

The Cedaredge Bruins will face off against the Mancos Bluejays at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedaredge has given up an average of 60.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Despite the loss, Cedaredge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zach Mannon dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. The contest was Mannon's third in a row with at least 17 points. Levi Maxey was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Mancos took a blow against Ignacio on Tuesday, falling 76-30. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mancos now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cedaredge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Cedaredge against Mancos when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-16 win. In that game, the Bruins amassed a halftime lead of 48-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
