Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rancho Verde). They blew past the Canyon Springs Cougars 14-4 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Rancho Verde got a big performance out of Uriah Celestine, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Celestine a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sebas Cazares, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Rancho Verde always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win (which was Rancho Verde's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Canyon Springs, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9.

Rancho Verde will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
