Volleyball Recap: Allatoona Takes a Loss

Allatoona lost against North Forsyth back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers fell 2-0 to the Raiders.

Allatoona was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23.

Madi Heard paced Allatoona's offense, picking up ten kills. Heard got some help from Lk Lamonica and her 20 assists. Finally, Heard was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Allatoona now has a losing record of 3-4. As for North Forsyth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Allatoona and North Forsyth will both be playing Greater Atlanta Christian the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
