Volleyball Recap: Kelly Catholic's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Kelly Catholic won the last time they faced Hemphill, and Abigail Brown did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hornets 2-1 thanks in part to Brown, who had 13 digs, eight kills, three blocks, and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted five or more kills the last three times she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Kelly Catholic and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for Hemphill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Kelly Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against West Hardin on the 23rd. As for Hemphill, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Kountze at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
