Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Cornerstone Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 51-33 to Trinity Christian Academy.

Trinity Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Luke Nutt, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 36 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Nutt's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Nutt, who posted five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Cornerstone Christian Academy now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
