Softball Recap: West Charlotte Takes a Loss

West Charlotte lost against Hopewell back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions came up short against the Titans, falling 17-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Charlotte now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Hopewell, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Charlotte will host Harding University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hopewell, they will face off against West Mecklenburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
