Softball Recap: Cumberland County Comes Up Short

Cumberland County fell victim to Upperman and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bees, falling 13-0. The Jets were not able to make up for their loss to the Bees from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Cumberland County and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Upperman, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.

Cumberland County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-8 win against York Institute on the 2nd. As for Upperman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Livingston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
