Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Garner). They breezed past the Garner Trojans to the tune of 90-40 on Monday. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

South Garner found their leader in sophomore Kimaya Barnes, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Barnes a new career-high. Taylor Moore was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

South Garner smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive matchups.

South Garner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. Garner dropped their record down to 10-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

South Garner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-41 victory against Corinth Holders on the 18th. Garner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
