Volleyball Recap: Green Valley Victorious

Green Valley picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Canyon Springs Pioneers.

David Davila paced Green Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Davila got some help from Zechariah Nissley and his 16 assists. Nissley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Green Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Canyon Springs, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Green Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Campolindo on the 18th. As for Canyon Springs, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Boulder City on the 24th.
