Football Recap: Everett Alvarez Comes Up Short on the Road Against Alisal + How To Watch

Everett Alvarez kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Alisal Trojans, falling 34-14. Despite 81 more yards than the Trojans, the Eagles couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Everett Alvarez still got an impressive performance from Roman Garcia, who picked up 78 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 86 yards on only 11 carries.

Coming up, Everett Alvarez will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Rancho San Juan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alisal, they will head out to face off against Leigh at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
