Grayson and Newton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Grayson had to settle for second. They fell just short of Newton by a score of 59-56. Grayson's defeat signaled the end of their 30-game winning streak.

Grayson's loss dropped their record down to 30-2. As for Newton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.
