Volleyball Recap: Indian Land Comes Up Short on the Road Against Charlotte Latin

Indian Land had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Charlotte Latin Hawks. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-13.

Charlotte Latin found their leader in sophomore Ryan Burrell, who had 12 digs and two aces. Burrell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sophie Dunn also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

The win keeps Charlotte Latin at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Indian Land will host Andrew Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Charlotte Latin, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sun Valley on the 22nd.
