Softball Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

Leland fell victim to Gilroy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Leland's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Gilroy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Leland will take on rival Leigh at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gilroy is set to face off against their familiar foe Ann Sobrato at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
