Softball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans vs. Charlotte Christian Knights
Wesleyan Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Charlotte Christian Knights, falling 8-1. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Wesleyan Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Wesleyan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Charlotte Christian, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Wesleyan Christian Academy will host Charlotte Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
