Volleyball Game Preview: Lejeune Devilpups vs. Pamlico County Hurricanes + How To Watch

Lejeune is 0-10 against Pamlico County since October of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Devilpups will head out to take on the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lejeune barely beat Jones the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Devilpups put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Devilpups sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lejeune was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Pamlico County made easy work of Southside on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Pamlico County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-17.

Pamlico County's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Lejeune, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Lejeune suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Pamlico County in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Devilpups avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
