Basketball Recap: Ville Platte Takes a Loss

Ville Platte has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of the Oakdale Warriors by a score of 55-52 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 69-62 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Ville Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Oakdale, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
