Softball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cypress Creek couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Jupiter Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Cintron, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Another was Britney Freitez, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Cypress Creek's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Jupiter, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Cypress Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jupiter, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Boone on the 13th.
