Basketball Recap: Harrisville Skates Past Morristown Central with Ease

Harrisville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 60-29 win over the Morristown Central Rockets. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Harrisville to victory were Aiden Chartrand and Joe Shepherd. Chartrand posted 17 points, while Shepherd earned 18 points. The contest was Shepherd's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Sullivan, who put up seven points.

Harrisville's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Morristown Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Harrisville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-38 loss against Canton on the 20th. As for Morristown Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Thousand Islands at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th.
