University Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Overlake Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Monday.

Hawthorne Moody spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
