Football Recap: Arapahoe Comes Up Short

Arapahoe played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Bertrand Vikings 46-12. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Although Arapahoe took the loss, they still got scores from Briggs Hill and Hudson Sich.

Thunder Nelson was a one-man wrecking crew For Bertrand. as he rushed for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Cooper Langford, who rushed for 73 yards and one TD.

Arapahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bertrand, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Arapahoe will challenge Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bertrand, they will square off against Brady at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
