Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Justin Garza). They skirted past the Clovis West Golden Eagles  11-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Guardians needed considering they were shut out in their previous   match.
 Brycen Dwiggins was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Justin Garza is 2-1 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 2-12 otherwise. Dwiggins was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
