Volleyball Recap: Freehold Boro Comes Up Short

Freehold Boro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Toms River South Indians.

Freehold Boro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Toms River South, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Freehold Boro will challenge Toms River North at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Toms River South and Middletown South will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
