Soccer Recap: MICDS Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, MICDS was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Burroughs Bombers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Burroughs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on May 2nd.

MICDS' loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Burroughs, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

MICDS does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burroughs, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Ladue Horton Watkins at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Burroughs have won ten straight at home, while Ladue Horton Watkins won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
