After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perry Meridian, Martinsville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Artesians in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Martinsville never let Terre Haute North Vigo on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-23.

Cameron Sylvester paced Martinsville's offense, picking up 13 kills. Sylvester got some help from Garrett Gardner and his 33 assists. Gardner was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
