Basketball Recap: Hoke County Bucks vs. Southern Lee Cavaliers
Hoke County was the 57-18 winner over Southern Lee when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hoke County Bucks received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 52-36 to the Southern Lee Cavaliers.
Several Bucks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Patience Morton, who posted seven points. Karmen Campbell was another key player, putting up seven points and seven rebounds.
It was another big night for Makayla Hall, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards for Southern Lee. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hall has scored at least a third of Southern Lee's points.
