Basketball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard lost against North Boone back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Harvard Hornets received a blow as they fell 59-45 to the North Boone Vikings. The Hornets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Harvard's record now sits at 2-15. As for North Boone, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-13.

Harvard and North Boone could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Harvard (ranked 713th) will meet Richmond-Burton (ranked 344th) at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Boone will face off against Rock Falls at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday down 339 places (521 vs. 182).
