Bentley Lusaukueno, A.J. Williams headline USA Basketball U16 men's national team roster

MaxPreps Sophomore All-America selections Jordan Page and C.J. Rosser among 12 to compete at FIBA U16 Men's AmeriCup.

Highly-regarded Class of 2028 prospects Erick Dampier Jr. of Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, Miss.), Bentley Lusakueno of Pace Academy (Atlanta, Ga.) and A.J. Williams of Dutchtown (Hampton, Ga.) headline the U16 roster announced by USA Basketball on Tuesday.

The team will compete at the FIBA U16 Men's AmeriCup, scheduled for June 2-8 in Juarez, Mexico.

Dampier averaged 13.5 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots per game to earn second team MaxPreps Freshman All-America honors in his second season of high school hoops.

Williams earned first team MaxPreps Freshman All-America honors after tallying around 17 points, 11 rebounds and three assists per outing to help the Bulldogs reach the Class AAAAA state quarterfinals.

Lusaukueno tallied 7.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per contest in 2024-25, showing promise throughout his debut campaign.



The trio joins six other MaxPreps All-Americans on the roster.

Mason Collins of Christ School (Arden, N.C.), Colton Hiller of Coatesville (Pa.) and Shalen Sheppard of Brentwood School (Los Angeles, Calif.) were each named to the MaxPreps Freshman All-America team. Jordan Page of Broughton (Raleigh, N.C.) and C.J. Rosser. of Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, N.C.) were selected to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-America squad last season.

The AmeriCup features eight teams from the FIBA Americas zone with the top four teams advancing to the 2026 FIBA U17 Men's World Cup in Turkey. The USA drew Group A with Mexico, Dominican Republic and Argentina.

The Americans are 43-0 all-time at the competition, winning eight straight gold medals.
