Basketball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Calvary Baptist Academy Kings took a blow against the Webberville Spartans, falling 76-41. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Baptist Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Daniels, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Daniels has posted since back in November of 2024. Zach Doughty was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.

Calvary Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Webberville, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Baptist Academy will take on Morley Stanwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Webberville, they will be playing at home against Morrice at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
