Recap: Glen Lake Lakers vs. Buckley Bears
The Glen Lake Lakers stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 68-48 margin over Buckley. Given Glen Lake's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Bears are ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glen Lake found their leader in underclassman Jacob Plamondon, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Dylan Cundiff was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Glen Lake is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Buckley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Glen Lake will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckley, they will be playing at home against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leland has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
