Soccer Game Preview: Boiling Springs vs. Eastside

The Boiling Springs Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Eastside Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Boiling Springs fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Riverside on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Eastside made sure to put some goals up on the board against Spartanburg on Monday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 4-0 win. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Carson Koop was the driving force of Eastside's attack as he scored all four of Eastside's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Eastside now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Boiling Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
