Marleya Myers leads Terry to victory over Hattiesburg

Recap: Terry Bulldogs vs. Hattiesburg Tigers

The Hattiesburg Tigers typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Terry Bulldogs proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Tigers with a 41-37 victory. This was payback for Terry, who suffered a 44-34 loss the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Marleya Myers, who scored 13 points. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Jones, who scored five points along with six rebounds.

Terry has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Hattiesburg, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Terry will take on Jim Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jim Hill and Terry are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Hattiesburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Pearl River Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pearl River Central is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
