Basketball Game Preview: Mulberry Yellowjackets vs. Scranton Rockets

The Mulberry Yellowjackets will venture away from home to take on the Scranton Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Mulberry saw some tournament action on Monday. They managed a 62-58 win over Cedarville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Meanwhile, Scranton earned a 71-63 victory over Acorn on Monday.

Scranton pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Mulberry, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Mulberry lost to Scranton on the road by a decisive 55-36 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Mulberry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
