Basketball Recap: Sutton Comes Up Short

Sutton suffered their closest loss since January 13th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Doherty Memorial Highlanders by a score of 33-31. The Sammies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Sutton now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Doherty Memorial, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Sutton will take on Blackstone-Millville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Doherty Memorial has already played their next contest (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
