It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West can now relate to. The matchup between the West Chargers and the Seaman Vikings didn't end well, with the West Chargers falling 59-42. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 71-29 defeat back in January.
West's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addaline Hall, who shot 50% from the field en route to 14 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Imani McGlory, who posted 14 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive games.
West's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Seaman, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.
As of now, neither West nor Seaman have any future games scheduled.
