Baseball Recap: McMinn County Takes a Loss

McMinn County suffered their biggest loss since April 10, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the Lenoir City Panthers, falling 10-4. The Cherokees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

McMinn County's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Lenoir City, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.

McMinn County has already played their next game (against Thomas Worthington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lenoir City, they will challenge Sequoyah at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lenoir City is facing Sequoyah at the right time seeing as Sequoyah is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
