Basketball Recap: Fremont Piles Up the Points Against Skyline

Fremont posted their biggest win since February 14, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Skyline Titans 89-48. With the Tigers ahead 56-24 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Leading Fremont to victory were Dominic Antoine Jr and Roy Bishop Jr. Antoine Jr made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc for 22 points, while Bishop Jr went 7 for 12 on his way to 16 points along with six steals and five boards. Those 22 points gave Antoine Jr a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyreese West, who posted 12 points and three blocks.

Fremont was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Fremont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Skyline, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 82-75 defeat against Natomas on the 20th. As for Skyline, they will head out to face off against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
