Basketball Recap: Osborn Takes a Loss

Osborn has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 28.36 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They fell to the University Prep Panthers 60-54. The Knights lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in March of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 70-16 score last time.

Osborn's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for University Prep, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Osborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against Edison Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Edison Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something University Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
