With a playoff win on the line, St. Joseph rose to the challenge on Saturday. They slipped by the Brookfield Bobcats 21-20. The victory was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on five straight.

The critical scores for St. Joseph came from Tyrell Wright Jr., Jake Rios, and Lameik Black Jr.

Loss or not, Brookfield got some senior leadership from Nyzir Torres and Michael Walters. Torres rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while Walters rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown.

St. Joseph pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brookfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 14 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 12-1 record.

As of now, neither St. Joseph nor Brookfield have any future games scheduled.
