Baseball Game Preview: Flatonia Bulldogs vs. Brazos Cougars

The Flatonia Bulldogs will face off against the Brazos Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Flatonia lost 10-2 to Shiner on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Brazos faced off against Goliad on Friday. The Cougars took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Brazos got a good showing from Jaden Bradley, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Bradley has allowed since back in March.

At the plate, Brazos saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Krahn, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Flatonia's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Brazos, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
