JAMES MURRAY put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 14 points and four steals. FABIAN MORRIS was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when Northfield duked it out with Denver South on Wednesday. Northfield took an 80-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Denver South.

Denver East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Northfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

Denver East came up short against Northfield in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 68-55. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Northfield's Judah Michael, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and ten boards.
