Softball Recap: Granville Golden Horde vs. Lake George Lakers
Granville came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lake George Lakers 15-2. The Golden Horde might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.
Lily Olsen made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Olsen was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Caroline Baker was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lillian Baker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Granville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
